Joyride was so much fun. It was fun hanging with all the girls and watching them try new things. I braved all the skinnies except the big scary log. Played on the pump track when it got too chilly waiting around. And took the leap into the foam pit. Such an exhilarating experience to just take a "leap of faith" and conquer my fears. I do hope we can get a group of Wild Bettys out for a day.

Hey Melinda - glad to hear you're working on your skills for the race this summer! Don't worry too much about the bridges - there's not too too many on our current course, although it does vary day to day.<br />Best of luck with your training - you'll have a blast in July!

So glad you came out! It is worth getting comfy on woodwork, so that when you're out there, you're just enjoying the experience. I will say - the bridges were long and some were high, but none were really technical. If you can master the sport skinnies at Joyride, BC Bike Race will be a breeze.
