Only a couple of weeks left of 2011, and so much to do, the hustle and bustle of this season is exhausting and can seriously cut into ‘fun time’.  The Bettys sure had some fun this past weekend. A few of us went to Joyride150 indoor bike park. Check out these couple of videos, Bigwheelsrule ,  WildBettys youtube channel A big thank-you to Shannon Bentley, owner,  for the  instruction and, Rick Meloff, resident photographer, they had us all catching a little air by the end of the night and riding some skinnys we didn’t think we  could do!!!  We’ll be planning another outing for early in the New Year...check out details on the forum and come on out and join us. There will also be the 2^nd annual women’s weekend at Joyride150 the first weekend in February, but that’s a long way off from now, we can surely fit in a few more outings before then!!

Also, this is the time of year for the ‘big announcements’ like, who is going to be riding for whom in 2012, what events and races are going to run, and the dates of those events. We’ve got a great team lining up as well as some exciting news about our sponsors and plans for the Bettys. Just need to find that time in the Hustle and Bustle to iron out the details and get them up on our website...check back soon, we want you to be the first to know. Also, our calendar page is a great quick one spot resource for you.

Winter training is in full swing in my basement already, you set up yet? The Bettys will be starting at Lapierre Toronto in the New Year, check us out and consider joining us.

As 2011 comes to a close, and we’ve all had our birthdays for the year, some that might have given us a cause to pause I’m more convinced than ever that there’s nothing like riding a bike with friends to keep you feeling like a kid; fit, fearless and excited about the future!!
