There is certainly a long slow learning curve to web development!!! We have so many ideas for this Website and are slowly learning how to make it happen. It's that pesky day job that is getting in the way of really having this up and running. Anybody out there familiar with Website development?....I just can't seem to get our PayPal buttons up nor twitter feed working.... At any rate please bear with us while we work it all out. Our hope is to have an interactive community here where we can exchange information and ideas regarding everything mountain biking in our various forums ....where to ride , how to ride, how to train to maximize the fun, after all the greatest, lightest bike is really only as good as the engine!!! We also will have private forums for those using our training program for more personally directed information. Also, we aim to be support for racing enthusiasts, either those racing now or those wanting to race soon. Our race team is 4 members now all in different Ocup categories for maximum podium exposure and the team is sure to grow over the season as Wild Bettys enter various events around the province...the first Ocup race is just a month away on April 25 at Mansfield Outdoor Centre, and we are fielding a team in the Lake to Lake race in mid-June. In addition Wild Betty's is very appreciative of our fabulous urban trails and will be helping out with trail stewardship in conjunction with TORBA this season and Toronto Parks and Recreation Forestry Department...check out Crother's wood in Wikipedia for a very interesting history of our neighbourhood trails.... so that's a first installment of this blog..hope it was a little informative...

Ride On!

Melinda.
